Andrea Branzi is an accomplished professor of design specifically industrial design. In addition to being a lecturer at one of the Polytechnics in Milan he is an architect too. In 1996 Andrea Branzi managed to curate at least two exhibitions whose main objective was setting up a new museum for Italian design. He has also participated in writing essays for various magazines and newspapers. At one time, he was the editor of MODO for four years between nineteen eighty three to nineteen eighty seven.
In 1983 Andrea Branzi and some of his colleagues established the Domus Academy which is the first ever international school of design offering postgraduate courses. He has won several awards for his contribution to the world of design.
In an interview that he offered to one of the media houses in Italy in the year 2003, Andrea Branzi said that the best moment for him in a day was when he was just about to start working. It could either be in the morning or in the afternoon.
